Does my inbox stay in Gmail?
Yes. Your inbox stays intact — messages remain in your native Gmail inbox until you take a final action. Lonzo doesn't move your mail into a separate inbox; your Google account stays the source of truth.
Triage reads and prioritizes your mail in place and changes nothing. Something changes in Gmail only when you take a final action — archive, reply, report spam, unsubscribe — and the assistant then writes that action straight to your Google account.
Having some of that done for you quietly, without a tap, is part of the Assistant plan, which is coming soon. On that plan, one behavior starts on: routine mail the assistant handles for you — newsletters, receipts, notifications it judges need nothing from you — is archived out of your inbox. It is still in Gmail, under All Mail, and is never deleted; everything archived this way is shown under Handled for you and in Activity with an Undo, and you can switch it off under Account → Automation ("Archive routine mail I handle for you"), after which every message stays in your inbox. Every other behavior that moves mail — silencing a sender, silencing bulk marketing, reporting spam, filing under a reminder — starts off and is switched on by you.
