Early-Access Terms
Effective 2026-07-28 · Version 1.0These Early-Access Terms (the "Early-Access Terms") govern your use of any feature of Lonzo (the "Service") that we label as Early Access or Preview inside the Service. They supplement the Terms of Use and the other policies incorporated into it. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.
These Early-Access Terms apply only to labeled features. The Service itself is generally available and is governed by the Terms of Use and the Subscription & Billing Terms. Where the Service presents no feature labeled Early Access or Preview, these Early-Access Terms do not apply to you.
Precedence. To the extent these Early-Access Terms conflict with the Terms of Use, they control only as to a labeled early-access feature. In every other respect, and for every other part of the Service, the Terms of Use apply.
By turning on or using a feature labeled Early Access or Preview, you accept these Early-Access Terms as to that feature.
Please read carefully. An early-access feature is newer and less proven than the rest of the Service, and — like the rest of the Service — it may act on your live Google data. It may make mistakes, including erroneous changes to your real email, calendar, contacts, and tasks. You use an early-access feature at your own risk.
1. Eligibility and Availability
1.1 Optional and discretionary. Access to an early-access feature is offered at our discretion and is optional: you do not need to use one, and the rest of the Service does not depend on it.
1.2 Included in your Plan; nothing extra to buy. Early-access features are made available as part of the Plan you already subscribe to. We do not charge separately for an early-access feature, and there is nothing additional to purchase in order to use one. If a feature later becomes part of a different Plan, we will tell you before that change affects you.
1.3 Revocable and non-transferable. Access to an early-access feature may be limited, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice. Access is personal to you and may not be shared or transferred. Withdrawal of an early-access feature does not affect your Subscription or your access to the rest of the Service.
2. As-Is; No Warranty; No Service-Level Commitment
2.1 AS IS / AS AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EARLY-ACCESS FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. The disclaimers in the Terms of Use apply with full force to early-access features, which carry the additional risks described here.
2.2 No SLA; no uptime or support commitment. We make no service-level, uptime, availability, or support commitment for an early-access feature. It may be unavailable, interrupted, degraded, delayed, or reset at any time, with or without notice.
2.3 AI outputs especially unreliable. The AI-output and no-reliance disclaimers in the Terms of Use apply, and the outputs of an early-access feature are especially likely to be wrong. You must review its outputs and actions before relying on them.
3. An Early-Access Feature May Change or Be Discontinued
We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any early-access feature at any time, with or without notice, and without liability. We make no commitment to maintain any early-access feature or any level of its functionality, and a feature available in early access may change substantially or may never become a generally available part of the Service.
4. Data Risk; Erroneous Actions on Your Google Data
4.1 Data created through an early-access feature. Data produced by an early-access feature may be lost, corrupted, deleted, or reset, including if we discontinue the feature. We do not warrant the durability, integrity, or recoverability of data produced by an early-access feature, and you should not rely on one for critical workflows. This Section concerns data produced by the feature itself; the retention and deletion of your account content generally is described in the Data Retention & Deletion documentation.
4.2 Erroneous actions on your live Google data. Because the Service acts on your behalf, an early-access feature may make erroneous or unintended changes to your real Google data — for example, mislabeling or misfiling mail, or creating, moving, or cancelling calendar events (which may cause Google to notify attendees), or editing or deleting contacts and tasks. These changes affect live data in your own Google account, not only data stored by us, and may be difficult or impossible to reverse.
4.3 Your responsibility to review. You are responsible for reviewing the actions the Service takes on your behalf. In particular, the human-approval boundary described in the Terms of Use — the requirement that you review and approve outbound email before it is sent as you — applies to every outbound-email path, including one reached through an early-access feature. You must use it and review each message before approving it, and you should review autonomous changes to your mailbox, calendar, contacts, and tasks.
4.4 No liability for lost or erroneously modified data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, corruption, or erroneous modification of data — whether stored by us or in your connected Google account — arising from your use of an early-access feature. This is subject to Section 8.
5. Feedback
You are encouraged to give us feedback on early-access features. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, and sublicensable license to use any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and ideas you provide for any purpose, without obligation or attribution to you. This feedback license is consistent with the feedback provisions of the Terms of Use and the Copyright & DMCA Policy.
6. Confidentiality of Non-Public Features
6.1 An early-access feature may expose you to functionality, performance characteristics, and known issues that are not yet publicly available. You agree not to publicly disclose, benchmark, or publish screenshots or descriptions of unreleased, non-public features without our prior written consent. This obligation is deliberately narrow: it does not restrict you from discussing, reviewing, or publishing anything about the generally available Service.
6.2 This obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you already knew without a duty of confidentiality, or that you are legally compelled to disclose.
7. Diagnostics
For an early-access feature we may collect elevated diagnostic information (for example, error, stability, performance, and usage data) to fix defects and improve the feature's correctness and reliability. This collection is described in, and governed by, the Privacy Policy. It does not change our posture that your content is not used to train foundation models, and AI processing through Amazon Bedrock does not use inputs or outputs to train its models. Elevated diagnostics are limited to operational telemetry about the feature; they are not a content-use permission.
8. Limitation of Liability for Early-Access Features
8.1 Heightened limitation. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND EXCEPT AS STATED IN SECTION 8.3 AND SUBJECT TO THE NON-EXCLUDABLE MATTERS AND THE LIABILITY CAP SET OUT IN THE TERMS OF USE, WE WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF AN EARLY-ACCESS FEATURE, INCLUDING FOR DATA LOSS OR CORRUPTION AND FOR ERRONEOUS OR UNINTENDED ACTIONS IT TAKES ON YOUR BEHALF ON YOUR CONNECTED GOOGLE ACCOUNT.
8.2 Interaction with the Terms of Use cap. The limitation in Section 8.1 supplements, and does not enlarge, the limitation of liability in the Terms of Use. These Early-Access Terms will not be more generous to you than that limitation, and the overall cap in the Terms of Use — including its fixed floor amount, which applies regardless of what you have paid — continues to apply.
8.3 Non-excludable liability. Nothing in these Early-Access Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer right you have under applicable law.
9. When an Early-Access Feature Graduates or Ends
9.1 An early-access feature may graduate into the generally available Service, change substantially, or be discontinued.
9.2 We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of a material change to, or the discontinuation of, an early-access feature you are using, including whether data produced by that feature carries over.
9.3 Export window before any reset. If discontinuing an early-access feature will involve deleting data we hold that would not otherwise carry over, we will provide a 30-day export window before that deletion, during which you may request and download an export of that data, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. This window applies to data we hold; data in your connected Google account remains available to you directly through Google at all times. Nothing in this Section limits any data-portability right you have under the Terms of Use or applicable law.
10. Ending Your Use
You may stop using an early-access feature at any time by turning it off, and doing so does not affect your Subscription or your access to the rest of the Service. We may withdraw your access to an early-access feature as described in Section 1.3.
